..::[ The Bitcoin Foundation: STATE OF BITCOIN ADDRESS ]::..

     [ Date: 2019.01.31 ]
     [   Co-Chairs: mod6 [R.01] && ben_vulpes [R.02]    ]

0x00]: Introduction

It is with great honor and privilege that The Bitcoin Foundation embraces
this opportunity to address the public on the state of current progress,
obstacles and continuing steps in our mission.

0x01]: Accomplishments

0x010: mod6 completed the TRB keccak vpatches and created a blog post about
how he went about that process [R.03]. During the regrind, he also
utilized the opportunity to remove UTF-8 character from the genesis.
The new vpatches are posted [R.04] [R.05] on mod6's website until
they are fully blessed by the Lords of TMSR~, at which time the
Bitcoin Foundation will schedule the cut-over on the Foundation
         website.

shinohai [R.06] volunteered his time and efforts into testing mod6's
new keccak TRB vpatches [R.07]. This is a terrific start, but more
eyes are needed from the Lordship; please reach out if you want to
review these but are not sure where to begin.

0x011: mod6 asked shinohai to test the updated [still unreleased] TRB HOWTO
Guide [R.08] which contains the new steps for building with keccak V,
and the new TRB keccak vtree. The one major item that the guide is
missing thus far is instructions on how to build TRB on TMSR~'s own
`Cuntoo' [R.09]. To remedy this, mod6 is currently working to build a
Cuntoo of his own, and will create steps to build TRB with all of the
         TMSR~ tooling, including with ave1's [R.0A] GNAT.

0x012: spyked [R.0B] has a fully sync'd node [R.0C], and it has been added to
the list of Advertised Republican Nodes [R.0D].

0x02]: Continuing Steps

0x020: mod6 will build his Cuntoo workstation while keeping a log of all of
steps in this process. A blog post will be made outlining all of the
         operations to get this completed.

0x021: mod6 will utilize the learned recipe from the Cuntoo & TMSR~ Tooling
build-out, and add this to the TRB HOWTO Guide.

0x022: mod6 is still looking for additional testers and reviewers from TMSR~.
This will become more important in the next month as we are getting
closer to a time where a clean cut-over can be scheduled.

0x03]: Expenditures

0x030: 0.03968076 BTC for colocation services at Pizarro [January] [R.0E].

0x04]: Conclusion

The Bitcoin Foundation would like to bestow our sincerest thanks and
gratitude to the contributors and community for its support and insight.
