..::[ The Bitcoin Foundation: STATE OF BITCOIN ADDRESS ]::..

     [ Date: 2018.03.03 ]
     [   Co-Chairs: mod6 [R.01] && ben_vulpes [R.02]    ]

0x00]: Introduction

It is with great honor and privilege that The Bitcoin Foundation embraces
this opportunity to address the public on the state of current progress,
obstacles and continuing steps in our mission.

0x01]: Accomplishments

  0x010: mod6 released V version 99993 K [R.03].
0x011: The Foundation website updated to point to new V version [R.04] [R.05].
0x012: TRB-HowTo guide [R.06] has been updated to point to new V version.
0x013: mod6's node added to the list of Advertised Republican Nodes [R.07].

0x02]: Continuing Steps

Now that mod6's V 99993 K is complete [R.03]. There is still much to be done.

0x020: It was brought to our attention by phf [R.0A] that a single Unicode
character was found in genesis.vpatch [R.0B]. mod6 will investigate
and look for other Unicode characters in The Reference Implementation
source code. A ``regrind'' is a probable solution to remove these, as
         UTF8 is strictly forbidden.

0x021: mod6 is going to be taking a closer look and doing some testing with
December's submission of two trb vpatches: One from asciilifeform
         [R.0C], ``Aggressive PushGetBlocks'' [R.0D], and from ben_vulpes,
         ``Increased PushGetBlocks Aggression Level'' [R.0E].

0x03]: Expenditures

0x031: 1.00000000 BTC bridge loan to Pizarro; convertible to equity. The
Bitcoin Foundation and Pizarro are in the process of converting this
loan to equity, and will complete the process in March. The Bitcoin
Foundation will receive a board seat in Pizarro alongside shares for
         use of its capital [R.0F].

0x032: 0.36578855 BTC for Two 1U Rack Mount Servers [R.0F].
         Hardware for each 1U Server:
           2 x 2.67 Ghz E5640 Quad Core
           3 x 1Tb Solid State Drive (RAID 5 Configuration)
           48Gb RAM
           2 x 502 Watt Power Supply
1 FUCKGOATS Wired Directly to Motherboard

Both 1U servers are to be racked at Pizarro.
Each will run a trb (The Real Bitcoin) node, and serve as a possible
new home for the website & mirror.

0x04]: Other Mentionables

mod6 will be voting for The Bitcoin Foundation's seat on Pizarro's Board of
  Directors [R.10].

Both Foundation Co-Chairs will continue their important and necessary work on
  The Bitcoin Foundation as usual.

0x05]: Conclusion

The Bitcoin Foundation would like to bestow our sincerest thanks and
gratitude to the contributors and community for its support and insight.
