..::[ The Bitcoin Foundation: STATE OF BITCOIN ADDRESS ]::..

     [ Date: 2018.06.27 ]
     [   Co-Chairs: mod6 [R.01] && ben_vulpes [R.02]    ]

0x00]: Introduction

It is with great honor and privilege that The Bitcoin Foundation embraces
this opportunity to address the public on the state of current progress,
obstacles and continuing steps in our mission.

0x01]: Accomplishments

0x010: mod6's personal node was temporarily removed from the list of
Advertised Republican Nodes while his blockchain re-syncs [R.03].

0x011: mod6 continued trb development on Raw Transactions project, which began
two months ago [see section 0x021] [R.04]. Steady progress has been
made, and current work is focused around the signrawtransactions
         function.

0x012: ben_vulpes racked The Bitcoin Foundation's second server [see section
0x032] [R.05]. It is currently running trb and sync'ing the
         blockchain.

0x02]: Continuing Steps

0x020: mod6 will be putting further effort into a trb-centric implementation
         of raw transaction tools.

0x021: An important task on mod6's agenda [as well as us all], is to work
through asciilifeform's [R.06] FFA chapters posted [R.07] to his blog.
As soon as time can be reasonably allocated.

  0x022: mod6 is moving to place asciilifeform's ``Aggressive PushGetBlocks''
[R.08] vpatch into the main trb vtree. It is considered to be a
bug-fix [R.09]. It is currently presumed that it will be ``ground'' on
top of the current makefiles.vpatch. There will be an announcement
email that will go out to the btc-dev email list [R.0A] with details
         when the movement commences.

0x04]: Conclusion

The Bitcoin Foundation would like to bestow our sincerest thanks and
gratitude to the contributors and community for its support and insight.
